‘SPECIAL’ ARSENAL TARGET HAS GIVEN INDICATION HE WOULD SIGN FOR WEST HAM

West Ham United have been given real indications that Ajax midfielder and Arsenal target Mohammed Kudus is interested in joining.

Arsenal and Chelsea given huge Mohammed Kudus transfer update as £34.5m deal agreed - football.london

Ajax star Mohammed Kudus is wanted at West Ham United and has given indications that he would fancy the move to East London.

That is according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, who claims that one source has informed him that West Ham are ‘getting encouragement’ that Kudus is keen.

The Hammers are in talks with Ajax over a deal to bring Kudus to the London Stadium as they line up potential Lucas Paqueta replacements.

Kudus is a left-footed creator just like Paqueta but has even more versatility.

The Ghanaian has played as a number 10, right winger, false nine, box-to-box midfielder and even as a deep-lying playmaker.

Kudus – hailed as ‘really special’ by Dutch striker Tom van Weert – is so talented that he has been used almost everywhere beyond defence, showing his immense talent all over the pitch.

That’s why West Ham want Kudus and the notion of him being interested in a move will get Hammers fans very, very excited.

Kudus is certainly a main in demand this summer.

The Athletic reported less than two weeks ago that Brighton and Hove Albion had struck an agreement in principle for Kudus.

A deal worth £34.5million was allegedly struck but Brighton haven’t been able to wrap up the deal as things stand.

The Daily Mail claimed in July that Arsenal were exploring a deal to sign Kudus with Mikel Arteta keen to add another right-sided attacker.

Kudus was seemingly viewed as competition for Bukayo Saka down Arsenal’s right flank but the Gunners were allegedly losing the race for his signature.

The Independent suggested that Chelsea were ahead of Arsenal in the race for Kudus having offered him a ‘more convincing package’.

The Blues instead appear to be signing Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, giving West Ham a window of opportunity to swoop in for what could be an enormous coup in Kudus.

And now that he’s put pen to paper, Sky reports, the former West Ham United and Stoke City striker isn’t wasting any time in starting to get up to speed with his new teammates.

With the Nerazzurri’s Serie A opener now just a few days away, time is not exactly on the 34-year-old’s side.

On Saturday evening, Inter will begin their league campaign by hosting Monza at the San Siro.

And Arnautovic will be part of the Nerazzurri’s squad for that match.

Whilst he will not start that match barring major surprises, the Austrian could already make his first appearance in his second stint at the club as a substitute as the match wears on.

Arnautovic joins new signings like Carlos Augusto, who also completed his move to Inter earlier this week.

Inter coach Inzaghi will have a lot of new pieces to fit into his jigsaw over the coming season. Therefore, the coach will need to use the training sessions over the coming days well.

Inter have already had a full preseason, including a tour of Japan, to start to gel and find their chemistry.
