Kamara signed a four-year contract with Daniel Farke’s side and added another key pair of legs to a midfield that previously lacked strength and depth today.
The 27-year-old is a name that has been with the White team for many transfer windows but finally won it on the penultimate day of the summer 2023 transfer window.
Southend United is where Kamara started his career as a youngster before impressing Arsenal to bring him to their academy in 2012.
He even appeared for the Gunners in the EFL Cup in October 2015.
Reportedly had a loan spell in the lower EFL regions with Southend and Colchester United before he left Arsenal permanently in July 2017.
Scottish Premier League side Dundee took Kamara, but on January 2019 he attracted enough attention north of the border that Rangers took him.
he’s in Ibrox.
He played 193 games in four and a half years with the Gers, including experience in the Europa League and Champions League.
However, his nine goals in that span could tell Leeds fans all they need to know about his finest role on the pitch.
Tampere-born Kamara has been a regular starter for Finland since making his international debut in November 2017.
The midfielder has 52 caps for Finland so far.

Leeds finally secured their first win of the new season with a 4-3 win over hosts Ipswich Town last weekend, and another step for the Whites is certainly expected when they host Sheffield on Wednesday.
The Owls are struggling with no points at the bottom of the table and bookies are relying heavily on Daniel Farke’s side to convict the visitors this weekend of yet another defeat.
Leeds have every chance to win and can’t go beyond 1-2 but only 2-5, while the Owls can be trailed 13-2 to leave LS11 with all three points.
The draw was played 4-1 and Leeds were top of all seven in the first-scorer market, led by White rookie Joel Piroe 4-1.
Georginio Rutter is next with 5 seconds, followed by Joe Gelhardt with 6 seconds ahead of Crysencio Summerville, Willy Gnonto, Dan James and Luis Sinisterra, all 13-2.
Then there was the big gap with the Owls duo of Michael Smith and Lee Gregory, who were seen as the main threat to the visitors but still trailed 12-1 to score first.
The pair of owls Josh Windass and Ashley Fletcher were both 14 at the time, costing the same as United’s Jamie Shackleton.
