Brandon Fleming admits disappointment at Hull City after Shrewsbury Town move

Brandon Fleming admits it was an uncomfortable time at Hull City having completed his final day loan move to League One Shrewsbury Town.

Since Fleming signed a new contract with his boyhood club last summer, he picked up an injury early in the season, then fell out of favor following the arrival of Liam Rosenior in November, spent the second half of last season on loan at Oxford United.
Fleming has not featured in the Championship this season under Rosenior and will now call New Meadow home over the next few months, directly joining Matt Taylor’s team for Saturday’s trip to Carlisle United.
“I am really happy to be here.
I trained with the boys this morning and it seemed like a really good group,” Fleming told the Shrews website.
“I met all the staff they looked great.
It’s a good setup and I’m looking forward to this season.
I trained at Hull yesterday and then got the call that it was over.
I left last night and came back this morning.
Now I just want to play as many games as possible.
“Hopefully I’ll contribute some assists and I’m yet to score my first career goal so it would be great if I can do that this season.

“I know a few people from Hull who have been here before.
I spoke to them and they had nothing but good things to say about the venue and the club.
Meanwhile, Man City boss Taylor said the arrival of the 23-year-old with more than 50 league and Ligue 1 appearances under him was a welcome boost to options.

“Yesterday I said in the press conference that recruitment strategy has changed due to the team’s injury, so we are delighted to sign a player as experienced as Brandon,” Taylor said.
“He is an attacking left-back with experience in both Championship and League One.
