Hull City boss Liam Rosenior reveals Leicester City’s main weakness

Hull City owner Acun Ilicali to take 500 fans on an all-expenses-paid HOLIDAY to Turkey | Daily Mail Online
These comments come after the team’s 1-0 win at King Power Stadium when Liam Delap scored the only goal of the tournament.
What happened in the game between Leicester City and Hull?
The Foxes lacked effort early in the game to take the lead and they were punished, as Delap received a tense cross from Jean-Michael Seri before cutting the ball and hitting Mads Hermansen’s net.
A deflection could have helped their goal – but the visitors deservedly conceded that goal for not being sidelined early in the game – as the Tigers were also looking to advance.
And they had an opportunity thanks to Aaron Connolly in the second half to make it 2-0, that opportunity also came from a counter-attack.
In the end, a draw would be a fair result as Enzo Maresca’s side prevailed within 45 seconds of hitting Abdul Fatawu, Cesare Casadei and Stephy Mavididi.
The home side tried to equalize and close in on Fatawu, who hit the post after showing excellent speed, but they were unable to score.
The result ended their 100% record this season, but they did well after the departures of James Maddison and Harvey Barnes to get back on track.
They will be looking to return to victory against another recently relegated team:
Southampton.

Russell Martin’s side suffered a humiliating 0-5 defeat to Sunderland yesterday, so the Foxes and Saints will seek redemption after the international break.
Leicester have many great qualities.
They have good experience in certain areas and that will only help them in the dressing room.
Maresca’s team also has good attacking quality. Not only Kelechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy can make a difference on this level, but Fatawu, Mavididi and Casadei look like real future assets.
The bottom three teams all came on from the bench yesterday and that shows how deep they are.
Their weakness in transition, however, is the main one that Hull boss Rosenior pointed to after yesterday’s game.

He said:
“Wherever he is on the pitch, Liam [Delap] is a threat.
“I feel in the transition he will cause problems on the wing. right and if we put him in a position in a wide area, that will cause problems for them.
“That allowed me to put Aaron (Connolly) in the middle so we had two quick shots on the pitch.
“Leicester played good football but they were open-minded, as we are sometimes, in the process. converter, so having two quick shots there gave us some extra threat.
Their weakness when the ball is delivered to Hull is quite obvious.
Although the Tigers have exploited it and given Leicester a particularly bad image because of it, it is something Leicester need to work on improving.
Hull occasionally took aim at Leicester on the flanks and Callum Doyle looked particularly vulnerable.
Delap not only turned inward to score the winning goal, but the defender was also left on his back in the second half when the Tigers broke through.
James Justin might be a better fit at left-back – and Doyle might be a better natural fit at centre-back.
