Wolves are now ready to sign the 30-year-old who annoyed Pedro Neto once
Wolves are reportedly set to offer Jesse Lingard, who is currently a free agent.
The transfer market is now closed, meaning Wolves can no longer spend money on new players.

But the free agency market is still something for Wolves to explore.
Around this time last year, Wolves signed Diego Costa, who terminated his contract with Atletico Mineiro.
And now it is reported that the club may offer to sign Lingard.
A purchase of Lingard from Wolves would be interesting, after the player had a spat with Pedro Neto.
In April 2021, Neto had problems with West Ham’s game management tactics.
There was a conflict between the two men late in the game and teammates invaded them.
Wolves set to sign Jesse Lingard
Lingard is currently training at West Ham United, the club he was loaned to last season.
Last season Lingard played for Nottingham Forest and made 20 appearances.
Lingard’s time with West Ham was quite impressive while he was there.
For The Hammers, he has scored 9 goals and 5 assists in 16 appearances.
One wonders if this means there might be something to the connection between Pablo Sarabia and Saudi Arabia.
Lingard would be a great signing with a free contract
This is a very interesting statement and one that Wolves fans should support.
There is a perception of Lingard, but he is an established player in the Premier League.
His time with Forest has been unforgettable, but the Red Devils struggled in the Premier League last season and came close to relegation.
Lingard is creative, hardworking and could be a good addition to Wolves.
At the moment, the squad is quite young and the 30-year-old’s experience could come in handy.

Wolves believe they have signed a £5m signing and this could turn out great
Wolves have signed six new players this summer – and the club are said to be delighted about Enzo Gonzalez.
The young Paraguayan was signed by the club a day before the transfer deadline.
He made the transfer at the same time as Santiago Bueno, who was from Girona.
Gonzalez signed for Libertad, the club from which Brighton won the Julio Enciso.
Wolves will be hoping Gonzalez looks like Enciso, who has impressed quite well during his time in English football so far.
But Wolves are certainly pleased with their £5m signing…
And the determination is that he is a real talent.
The club decided to act at the end of the summer transfer window and the deal worked for Wolves.
He is a young player coming in for a relatively low fee and salary.
It is thought that the Wolves see this as a low-risk and high-reward trade.
The last time Wolves signed a player from South America was in January when Joao Gomes joined Flamengo.
The club have seen him thrive in his first eight months at the club and are looking to attract more players like him to the club.
Enso Gonzalez needs time to go to sleep
It looks like Gonzalez could become a real star in the future.
But for now, it will take him a long time to get comfortable.
He is from another continent and is only 18 years old
He does not speak English yet and so the question now is whether Gonzalez can move to Wolves in the first few months.
Wolves expect him to be able to compete for minutes in the first team.
But English football and life in England can be a culture shock for Gonzalez at first.
