The former Barnsley FC Rangers striker makes Scotland a comeback following his deadline-day move from Kilmarnock

The 24-year-old will spend the entire 2023/24 campaign in his native Scotland, returning for the first time since leaving Rangers in 2019.

Dallas joined Barnsley from Solihull Moors earlier in the transfer window, signing a three-year contract with Oakwell.

He appeared in five of Barnsley’s first six games, but his loan departure was confirmed before the Red Devils revealed new addition Sam Cosgrove.

Khaled El-Ahmad, CEO of Barnsley, said:
“We wish Andy all the best this season as he moves to Kilmarnock for the remainder of the season.

A statement issued by Kilmarnock said:
“Kilmarnock Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Andy Dallas, who will join Barnsley on a season-long loan deal, pending SFA approval. “The 24-year-old striker will strengthen Derek McInnes’ attack, bringing experience from both sides of the border. The Glasgow-born striker came through the Rangers academy, before impressing during loan spells with Stenhousemuir and Greenock Morton, securing a move to Cambridge United in 2019.

“Dallas also spent time at Weymouth, Solihull Moors and Chesterfield before signing a three-year contract with EFL League One side Barnsley earlier this summer.

Rangers FC Women have signed midfielder Libby Bance, 20, from Brighton & Hove Albion on a season-long loan deal.

She signed her first professional contract with Brighton at the start of the 2021/22 season and was called up to the U-19 training camp in England. Bance told Rangers.co.uk:
“It was amazing, I came here and toured the facilities, they were all top standard, I met some of the girls and they all looked lovely.

“I spoke to Jo [Potter] and almost immediately I felt it was the right decision for me. I just felt it was a really great opportunity for me this season, with more minutes of competition and live a completely new experience.

UK venue finding company Lime Venue Portfolio has added Edmiston House as the newest Scottish venue to its collection, as a “built event space and experiential venue purposeful, modern, purposeful”.

The portfolio includes venues such as racetracks and museums. Located next to Ibrox Stadium, home of Rangers FC, Edmiston House is home to the Rangers Museum, a two-storey retail store, cafe and modern events space, ideal for large conferences , product introduction, catering scale and large-scale product introduction.

It is described as a “fantastic addition” to the local community and town, open for events ranging from business meetings and conferences to private parties.

The venue’s largest space is the Clyde Rooms, which can host concerts for up to 1,200 people. The space is also well suited to hosting galas for 100 to 270 guests and receptions for 200 to 700 people, and the room layout can be converted for use as a theater, classroom, meeting room or organizing a fashion show.
