Many fans of clubs that frequently play away from home were likely paying close attention to a few teams in particular when the Championship schedule for the 2023–24 season was released.Because clubs may frequently bring a sizable away support to their Deepdale stadium, Preston North End will have been one of those.

In all honesty, there aren’t many bars in the area of Deepdale for away fans.

The aforementioned St Gregory’s, which is just a quick five-minute stroll from the Bill Shankly Kop turnstiles, is the closest stadium that does permit away supporters in.

Since Deepdale is the closest pub, St Gregory’s can accommodate both home and away supporters, but it usually fills up very quickly, especially when the away team’s supporter vans arrive there.

The White Hart, located on Watling Street Road and perhaps the ideal for away supporters who come in their automobiles and want a quick getaway back to the freeway, is the second away pub that is sufficiently close to the away end.

Although The White Hart is the second-closest alternative and has more space than St Gregory’s, it is still a good 0.8 miles to walk to Deepdale Stadium.

The Station and The Old Vic, which are located just outside the railway station, are among of the most convenient locations for fans arriving by train, however it is a 1.7-mile walk from there to the stadium.
