RUBEN Selles’ Reading played out a 0-0 draw at Burton on Saturday afternoon without any real moments of quality.

David Button 6:
Didn’t have to do much but he handled the ball very well every time he got into the box.
Tyler Bindon 6:
Very suitable at right-back, never afraid to get forward with the ball. Almost answered the questions of Kwadwo Baah, Burton’s greatest threat.
Harlee Dean 6:
Good running at the back. Is decisive and wins most duels.
Tom McIntyre 6:
He did everything asked of him before taking a nasty blow to the head just before the break. Removed and replaced by
Matt Carson 5:
A few missed tackles early on, but regained confidence as the game went on. Played a teasing cross just before he made his substitution, which Ballard just escaped.
Charlie Savage 6:
He tries to close from the edge of the box. Brings a lot of energy to the middle of the park.
Lewis Wing 5:
It took a while to get up to speed, losing possession a few times early in the game, but he kept playing. Will improve after a few minutes of practice.
Harvey Knibbs 5:
Brings his usual energy to the press and looks to get behind whenever Button or the defenders have the ball. It could have been more effective in the final third.
Ben Elliott 6:
Some really exciting moments with the ball, showing off his ability to get away from weaknesses. This could give Bindon more defensive support.
Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan 6:
Most of his best work has been on the chain, which is probably not where Selles wanted him to work. Keeps the ball well.
Femi Azeez 6:
Placed himself in many promising positions, nearly breaking the deadlock several times. I couldn’t put the ball in the net.
