TreVeyon Henderson questionable, Denzel Burke OUT for Ohio State Buckeyes at Penn State Nittany Lions
Ohio State Buckeyes will miss two of their best players and possibly three games against Penn State Nittany Lions
Ohio The State Buckeyes may be without their Top running back, TreVeyon Henderson, again.
This time, Henderson will miss the team’s important game against the No. 7 Penn State Nittany Lions. Henderson has missed the last three matches due to an undisclosed injury. Last week against Purdue, the Buckeyes were forced to turn to sophomore Dallan Hayden. In this game, Hayden handled the offense well, rushing 11 times for 76 yards and a touchdown.
However, this will be another challenge for Hayden as he faces the nation’s No. 1 defense in Penn State. The Nittany Lions currently rank third in the country against the run — and first in the Big Ten, allowing just 72.5 yards per game.
After being taken to the medical tent, he did not return to play. He has eight tackles, one interception and one forced fumble this season.
Also on the injury report is Buckeyes star wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, who was injured against Maryland and missed the game against Purdue. Egbuka is listed as problematic.
You can see the full injury report for the Buckeyes below:
Unfortunately for the Buckeyes, Henderson won’t be the only star to miss the game.
Defensive back Denzel Burke, the Buckeyes’ top cornerback, will also miss the game. Burke was injured in the third quarter against Purdue and had to limp off the field.
