It seems like he ought to have stayed out of the game. The Colts led 14–7 after Watson made a poor interception. In the opening fifteen minutes, he also came dangerously close to having another interception. This pass was first called a pick but was later reversed on replay. Watson also had to go to the medical tent after hitting his head on the Indianapolis turf as a result of it.

Watson was eventually replaced at center by P.J. Walker. Watson’s condition had not received an official update from the Browns as of the time this item was published.

Playing under a $230 million contract that is completely guaranteed, the Browns are starting to get concerned. Moving forward, the team will face some very serious long-term conditions if their star quarterback is unable to maintain his health.

Since Cleveland acquired Watson in a blockbuster trade from the Houston Texans prior to the 2018 season, Watson has fallen short of expectations when it comes to his performance on the field. In 10 games as a starter for the Browns, he has only managed 11 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. That simply will not suffice.
