South Sydney duo Jay Arrow and Cameron Murray were injured during the Rabbitohs’ 46-28 come-from-behind win over Gold Coast in Robina on Saturday night.
Queensland forward Arrow injured his right ankle in the 21st minute, spent the second half on crutches and missed the State of Origin series in Brisbane on June 21 after being chased in a moonboat.
The big question is whether he will play in the second game.
New South Wales striker Murray injured his groin and left the field limping in the 52nd minute.
Arrow said he was given bad news about his injury.
“I put it in the moon boot and when you scan it you’ll see the damage,” Arrow told Fox Sports.
“I felt really tight in the back (of my ankle) and they told me I had synostosis, but I hope it’s a minor problem.
” “It’s a little disappointing, but we managed to get two points.
” Happy The Titans got off to a great start, as they often do, leading 12-0 within 10 minutes and 22-16 at halftime, but the Rabbitohs then scored an unanswered 30 points.
The Rabbitohs have a number of players including Campbell Graham, Keown Koloatamangi, Damian Cook, Tevita Tatla and Cody Walker, who will be on hand for the second round in Brisbane on June 21st.
He was in contention to be included in the New South Wales squad for the game against State of Origin.
Most of them showed brilliance, but winger Alex Johnston scored a hat-trick and former New South Wales player He passed Australian winger Brett Morris for fourth place on the all-time list for tries with 178.
Walker and center Isaiah Tass sent him together in the first half, and Walker threw a parlor for his third.
I lifted him up for the pass.
The hosts lost five of the eight games they led at half-time, and that trend continued in worrying fashion as the Rabbitohs hit the gas in the second half and the Titans collapsed.
The Rabbit family had too much dignity.
Titans captain Tino Faasuamareui put in a great performance off the bench following Queensland’s come-from-behind 26-18 win in Adelaide on Wednesday night.
But the big story of the night was the injuries to Arrow and Murray.
The Maroons will be without striker Tom Gilbert (shoulder injury) in Brisbane, with Arrow expected to join him on the sidelines, leaving Queensland with at least two spots available.

Titans prop Moeaki Fotuaika was reported to have made dangerous contact with the leg of Koloamatangi early in the second half.
Mr Faasuamareui was unhappy with the decision.
The Rabbitohs then got a goal from Johnston and never looked back.
With an early kickoff Saturday, the Warriors’ one-two punch from both sides in the second half got their season back on track and paved the way for their 30-8 victory over the Dolphins in Oakland.
Shaun Johnson continued his form, scoring his second of two tries in the 53rd minute, unleashing a committed defense with a ferocious run reminiscent of his days as a fast-paced young player.
And just after the break, Luke Metcalfe received a line-break pass from Marata Niukole, ran 40 meters and scored under the posts to make it 18-4.
Up to that point it had been a light but entertaining game with both teams throwing the ball around in front of his 23,000-strong crowd at Mount Smart Stadium.
The Dolphins will be without Queensland Origin duo Hamiso Tabuai-Fidou and Tom Gilbert, as well as the suspended Felice Kaufusi and hooker Jeremy Marshall-King, who has slowed through injury.
