The Reds appeared to have a challenging evening ahead of them. Liverpool’s credentials were going to be put to the test, especially with Chelsea playing well.
It didn’t actually work out that way in the end. The Blues were hammered by Klopp’s team, who prevailed 4-1. Young Conor Bradley, who assisted on three goals for Liverpool, including his first-ever goal for the team, was in the center of it all.\
Bradley also garnered the manager’s plaudits in his post-game interview with TNT Sports.
He is amazing. Amazing boy. Magnificent, Klopp exclaimed. “People tell me the crowd was singing his name, but I can’t hear them. It’s excellent. Right now he is in the air. He’s a talented football player who works hard, and it’s really helped us.
“Recall that in the summer, some people claimed we needed another right-back, but at the time, we had high expectations for Conor. And now there’s been a significant advancement. That’s crucial because when these boys don’t show up, we are unable to piece together the sequence of events that led to all of our injuries. I’m quite happy for him.
Regarding Bradley, what more is there to say this evening? Ally McCoist of TNT Sports was enamored with the Northern Irishman throughout the evening, and with good reason.
The young player at Liverpool has had a lot expected of him for a number of years. Thus, his appearance shouldn’t come as a huge surprise in certain respects.
However, very few of those who promoted him could have imagined that Bradley would have such an influence.
In his two Premier League appearances, the right-back has already contributed three assists and one goal. That is really amazing. It is, in fact.
When you consider that Bradley also set one up during Sunday’s FA Cup victory over Norwich, you have to say, “Fair play.”
It seems doubtful that Bradley will play for Sunday’s trip to Arsenal given that Trent Alexander-Arnold is back to full fitness.
However, he played so well tonight that Klopp will legitimately have to respond to this topic.
Bradley won’t care about that at this time. He can be confident that when he goes to sleep tonight, his name will be loudly chanted by the Kop. What a player we have on our hands, and what a night for the young man.
