HERE I COME ; Aston Villa Feeling £70,000 p/w is an ideal alternative

Aston Villa:The £70,000 p/w Sensation is the ideal replacement for Buendia

Emery could launch a young talent to replace Buendia after the

international break.

Aston Villa have had a strong start to the 2023/24 season as Unai Emery looks to pick up momentum from last season’s end this season.
Despite a loss in their opening game against Newcastle United, Villa had won their previous four, scoring 15 goals and conceding just one as they were in worrying form.
Having also had a solid transfer window, attracting the likes of Moussa Diaby and Pau Torres to Villa Park, the Spaniard will hope the club’s next step will be to lift a major trophy
However, they will have to do it without Argentina player Emiliano Buendia, as he will miss about eight months of the season through injury.
What happened to Emiliano Buendia?
The attacking midfielder picked up a serious knee injury in training before Villa’s opening game against Newcastle, and that kept him out for most of the season.
Emery confirmed this by saying:
“It’s a six, seven or eight month injury.
And his presence will be missed.

The 26-year-old has impressed in pre-season for the Midlands side after starting a season in which he played all 38 Premier League games, scoring five goals and providing two assists.
He looks set to become a key part of the team at the start of their European tour and Emery may have to find someone else on the team to replace him: Jacob Ramsey.
When will Jacob Ramsey return from injury?
The Englishman made his Villa debut in the 2018/19 season as the club were promoted to the Premier League and has since become one of their best young players, becoming a key part of the senior squad.
Ramsey has missed just seven games in the previous two league campaigns and has shown his talent by scoring 20 goals in that span 12 goals and 8 assists and for no reason.
Why can’t he fill the void left by Buendia.
The £70,000-a-week jewel missed the start of the season after breaking a metatarsal against England U21s in July, but hopes to return after the international break.
What are Jacob Ramsey’s strengths?
Although Villa have signed Italian Nicolo Zaniolo, Ramsey could eclipse the former AS Roma star, especially based on their stats from last season.
Indeed, Ramsey scored more goals and assists (13 vs 6), had a higher pass success rate (81.
9% vs 63.
8%), shot creations of 90 (2.
76 to 2.
73) and won more tackles (38).
to eight) than Zaniolo.
, which shows it offers more on many metrics.

That’s not to say Emery can’t use the pair in the same system, but Ramsey proved last season that he’s finally taken the next step by performing consistently in one of the two.
top leagues on the continent.
Formerly called by former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher ‘first class in the future’, the future could be now and Emery doesn’t have to worry about Buendia’s injury as he has a young talent developing in the peak year.
