According to Dr Rajpal Brar, Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jacob Ramsey is expected to have to wear protective boots or a cast at some point during his recovery.
The injury expert pointed out that the England player suffered a broken foot that left him sidelined and could be weeks away from returning to action.

When he runs out of protective gear, he will undergo weight-bearing exercises to regain his strength before returning to play for Villa.
Speaking of his return to the team, Dr Brar, Physiotherapist and Sports Scientist, told Villa News:
“Ramsey suffered a broken foot that prevented him from playing.
“The severity of the fracture will determine whether he has to wear a cast or boots as well as how long he is there.
Once the fracture has completely healed, he will be redirected to weight-bearing activities and can return to training.

“It’s hard to put a timeline on those injuries, but it’s fair to say he’ll be out for a few weeks.
The 22-year-old found his place in Unai Emery’s squad last season but was ruled out this time due to injury.
He will be back soon after the international break, but that depends on his recovery in the coming days.
While Villans will face Crystal Palace in the Premier League, he is unlikely to be fit for that game.
Given Villa’s European commitments, Emery will need a stronger squad this season and therefore expect Ramsey to return as soon as possible.
