It’s currently unknown if Johnson’s injury will affect his availability when the Patriots play the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8. He acknowledged that he hadn’t had to sprint about as much as he did in the game against the Los Angeles Rams in a while. Given that, it’s possible that he was just taking it easy to make sure he was ready to play this weekend.

In addition, defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi (shoulder) and cornerbacks Levi Wallace (foot) and Joey Porter Jr. (calf) are all out for the Steelers. Porter Jr. and Wallace were limited, and Ogunjobi never practiced.

Pittsboro, PA When the Pittsburgh Steelers play the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8, they might be missing three cornerbacks. Following the publication of their final practice report, James Pierre, Levi Wallace, and Joey Porter Jr.’s injuries are all questionable.

Pierre sustained an ankle injury that will keep him out of action, but it wasn’t until the last day of practice that he appeared on the team’s injury list. The nature of the injury is unknown, as is the anticipated length of his absence outside of Week 8.

Wallace missed the first part of the week due to a foot issue, but he gradually recovered. He never got a full practice day, therefore it was unclear if he would play on game day.

Porter Jr. missed the last two practice days due to a calf ailment he sustained over the week. He informed reporters that he will be ready to play against the Jaguars, but Pittsburgh will now make a decision at game time.

The Steelers started practicing with Darius Rush and Luq Barcoo in order to accommodate the injuries. Barcoo acknowledged that he was practicing with the first team and that he was unsure if he would be activated from the practice squad for the game.

Rush stated he plans to participate, starting against the Jaguars in his NFL debut.

Rush stated, “You just have to be ready every week.” “Taking the reps I took this week, I just got to be really prepared for when my number’s called, and when my number’s called, go out there and execute at a high level and meet the standard that they have here.”
