When the Packers play Minnesota on Sunday, their standout cornerback Jaire Alexander might not be available.
Starting lineman Ezra Cleveland and tight end T.J. Hockenson are both continuing to improve, which is good news for the Vikings ahead of Sunday’s crucial border clash against the Packers.
Due to a foot issue, Cleveland, the starting left guard, missed the 49ers game. On Thursday, he was out for the second straight practice. Backup Dalton Risner, who impressed in his season-opening start on Monday night, appears to be in fine hands if he is unable to get going.
Hockenson also has a foot ailment to cope with. After being held out on Wednesday, he was limited on Thursday.
