Diontae Johnson of the Steelers is back on the injury report
It looks like the wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers has a setback.
Pittsboro, PA Due to a hamstring injury, wide receiver Diontae Johnson of the Pittsburgh Steelers missed the team’s second practice of Week 8. The veteran missed four weeks due to what was likely the same ailment, and he only recently returned from Injured Reserve last week.
Johnson was fully involved yesterday, but he did not practice. He told the media before practice that he felt well, raising doubts about whether the squad was taking precautions or if it was a setback.

Throughout the 2023 season, Wallace has been the Steelers’ starting right cornerback; however, rookie Joey Porter Jr., a second-round draft pick, has been getting more playing time than Wallace lately.
With the exception of starter Patrick Peterson, this means that rookie cornerback Darius Rush, who joined the Steelers just two weeks ago after being cut from the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad, is the only other cornerback in optimal health.
Chandon Sullivan, a slot cornerback, has experience playing outside. There is also a slot for Elijah Riley to play. If needed, outside cornerback Luq Barcoo may be promoted from the practice squad.
